I’m trying to consolidate my debt for a Security Clearance but I need to start making payments on a few delinquent accounts. Does anyone know if I could use a VA Loan for this?

I believe that the VA only guarantees home loans.

Either way, it doesn’t make any loans itself.

  1. I’m sorry, but you cannot.

VA loans are only for purchasing a home, and they are very hard to get right now with the mess the economy’s in.
