Question by antongk1: Where can I get a personal loan secured by a car title other then a bank?
I have the title to my car that is worth about $ 27000, and I need to get a long term loan (5 or 6 years) for $ 12000. Other then a bank or a credit union how can I get the loan?

For your sake avoid title loan companies. These are exceedingly high interest rates. I would be very weary about using source other than a bank or credit union. It simply is not a good deal.
Finance companies can provide it, but these loans typically have a negative effect on your credit. This is true even if you keep your account in a good status.
