GET your FACTS straight. Some times Illegals use teh SAME SS Number HUNDREDS of times. Yes HUNDREDS. They recently had a woman on CNN who had her Identity STOLEN!!!!! by 14 ILLEGALS. She even APPROACHED several of teh companies that were employing these illegals NOW GUESS what she was told by them. TUFF LUCK!!!! You Continue to make me SICK ATTEMPTING to JUSTIFY CRIMINALS now you have the Nerve to question Identity therft. They found the person, and she was in this country illegally! So there is another reason I don’t agree with the whole illegal thing!
Yes I have two people using my SS# one in Florida and one in California both Mexican names.
Didn’t find out about it until I went for a second interview for a job.
many ss# that are on the black market are stolen from those who are already deceased, makes it harder to get caught
I worked for a very large bank, you know stage coach, horses. anyway, when people didn’t have their account numbers with them and I had to look it up with their ss#, I would see their name and up to three people with Hispanic names with their ss#. All I was allowed to tell them was to contact the social security office. What’s so sad is that most people don’t know that their ss# is being used as we speak. They need to make a national data base for regular people to check in with and see what is going on with their ss# not only credit wise, but tax wise also.
not all illegals steal ss numbers…some just work like that..like housekeepers,nannies OR the people that work for fast food chains,they do not even have to give a number,the same manager or people with higest rank give fake numbers to INS so they can work there..
It hasn’t happened to me–That I know of but its going on..and you need to take your blinders off if you think for one min that this isn’t happening..There was somone on this site that had posted about her sister that died and an Illegal stold her ss#…and I would think that the people on here if they had it happen to them know if they are illegal or not..that would be one of the things the district of attorney would find out about…

Stolen identity doesn’t work like that… Read a book. Just because someone uses your SS# (makes it up) doesn’t mean he/she stole your identity.
