Question by Ryan: Where can I get financial consultation or advice on student loans, consolidation, credit scores and mortgages?
I am a graduate student nearing graduation and have a heafty student loan around 160k. In addition, my credit score is poor because of a few missed payments. I would like to talk with someone who can give me unbiased advice on how to tackle my student loans as well as provide insight on possibly buying a house, consolidating my debt and raising my credit score.

Help my identity was stolen when I was younger and I have huge bills from IRS to Dept of Education.. Huge bogus bills and now I tried to sign up to go back to school and I cant do nothing till everything is clear. Do I have any options ??

You are never responsible for ID theft.
This would be instantly removed from your credit reports if you know how to do this right?

Why are you not disputing these ID theft charges and getting them removed from your reports?
You take your credit reports to the police station and get a police report.
Send that report to the bureaus along with a short letter.
The items will be removed – easily
Whoever stole your identity will be dealt with by the police.

You are never responsible for ID theft – or did a family member do this to you?
You could clear this up rather quickly – just do it.

They then sent me a letter in the mail saying they can’t prove it wasn’t me. As a result I got behind on car payments and my car was repossessed and my credit is shot. Will having a bad credit rating prevent me from being able to join the military?
